Hoefkens doesn't agree with new contract

During this transfer period Club Brugge is also negociating contract renewals with some players of the first team.

Club got to an agreement with Thomas Meunier, after his good first season half and promising development, to renew and improve his contract until 2016. Left back Jimmy De Jonghe was happy to sign a contract renewal until 2015, with an option for one extra year.

A contract renewalof two seasons waits for the Nigerian striker Akpala.

Club Brugge didn't come to an agreement with Carl Hoefkens. Club had made a proposition for one season first, which was adjusted to two seasons including a performance aimed clause. Carl Hoefkens decided yesterday not to sign this proposition, but said he wanted to end his career at Club Brugge in a positive and succesful way.
