Scepovic and Perisic score in international U21’s game
Last night, Stefan Scepovic and Ivan Perisic played against each other in the U21’s international game of Serbia against Croatia. The final result was 2-2, after one goal from Scepovic and two from Perisic.
Croatia only needed one point in order to qualify for the play offs of the next European Championship for the U21’s in Denmark. Yet, Croatia didn’t start well, as after three minutes Stefan Scepovic (left picture) had scored the opening goal for Serbia. The Club striker passed two defenders and finished well with a nice lob over the keeper.

Croatia didn’t panic and equalised after ten minutes by Ivan Perisic (right picture). Club’s offensive midfielder even became man of the match as he scored his second goal of the evening with his head. Perisic was changed after seventy minutes while Scepovic played the whole game. Serbia still managed to equalise in the final minutes. Croatia finished its group as leader and now still has to play two play off games in December in order to qualify for the European Championship.
