Bolat (26) has been playing for Porto since 2013 before having played for Belgian sides Standard de Liège and KRC Genk. With Standard he won the championship and the Belgian Cup. Last two seasons Bolat played on loan for Kayserispor and Galatasary where he played all cup games and won it. The Turkish Belgian completed his medical yesterday and will play on a season-long loan with an option to buy. The goalkeeper is Club Brugge's sixth Summer signing.

"I've long been conviced of Sinan's qualities as a goalkeeper. At Standard he has already proven to be very reliable. With him on our side, I now have to good goalkeepers to fight for the spot between the sticks. In my talks with Sinan I noticed his eagerness. He's very motivated to succeed at Club."

"I'm very happy to be back in Belgium. The last two years I didn't play too often, but nevertheless I've become a more complete goalkeeper and the foreign experience helped me develop as a person. Succeeding at Club Brugge is my top priority now. This is a unique possibility. I look forward to get to know the other players as soon as possible and take the challenge for the Numer One spot."
