Taking over from Carl Hoefkens, Scott Parker will be in charge of Club Brugge's first team..
Parker (42) has had a fine carreer as a player, with a.o. stints at Chelsea, Newcastle United, West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur. A midfielder in those day, he also joined the Three Lions on 18 occasions, captaining the team in international assignments.
His training carreer was kicked off at Tottenhem, where he was in charge of the U18s. This was followed up with an assistant's function at Fulham, first under Claudio Ranieri and later on Slavisa Jokanovic. In February 2018, he took over as main coach at Craven Cottage, seeing this lead to promotion to the Premier League in 2020. The next step in his coaching carreer took him to Bournemouth, where he again successfully lead his team to the Premier League.
Scott Parker will be presented as Club Brugge's new T1 at its Belfius Basecamp next week.
