Draw for Galatasaray, victories for PSG and Real
Galatasaray was kept at bay by Gençlerbirligi, while Club's other opponents in the Champions League bagged a win this weekend.
Real Madrid - Granada: 4-2
After they dropped two points at home against Club Brugge, Real Madrid set things straight in La Liga with a 4-2 win against Granada. The visitors were undefeated on the road and were only one point behind the Madridistas. Not an opponent to underestimate, but Benzema put Real in the driving seat after just two minutes.
The hosts were dangerous via Carvajal and Valverde, but it was Hazard who doubled the lead with a sublime lob. Fifteen minutes into the second half Modric killed the game with a stunning strike. Or so it seemed. Granada fought back when Machis pulled one back from the spot and Duarte then halved the deficit.
The Galácticos held Granada at arm's lenght afterwards and took away all doubt deep into stoppage when Rodriguez made it 4-2.
Thanks to this victory Real Madrid lead the pack in the Spanish Primera Division. (VM)
