Eduard Sobol: “Play with the same mentality on Wednesday”

Even if Antwerp has a treacherous striker the likes of Mbokani, Club's defense hardly came into trouble. Eduard Sobol even came close to scoring, but was denied by an ultimate reflex by Bolat and the woodwork.

“A very tough game indeed. We knew they weren't coming for the win here, and their intentions were clear from the start. It was a hard-fought win for us, but I reckon we dominated the entire game. In defense, you always have to make sure the opponent cannot strike on the break, and I reckon we neutralized that danger really well today. The moment I started thinking a goalless draw was all that would be in it for us, Hans Vanaken finally scored and made sure we got the three points. I was quite happy as to my own performance, even if that free kick didn't go in. Next up on Wednesday, it'll be one of those typical Cup games, but if we bring the same mentality as we did today, we should be able to make it to the Final.” (FDC)
