Ivan Leko : “Decisions will be made on Saturday afternoon”

The first top game of the new season in the Jupiler Pro League has place on Sunday. Club Brugge face Anderlecht in Jan Breydel.

Ivan Leko about…the two new players

All transfer work is almost done for the Blues. The duo Abdoulay Diaby-Anthony Limbombe left the Blues this week while Kaveh Rezaei and Sofyane Amrabat joined the Blues. "We will see whether both new faces start from kickoff on Sunday", said Ivan Leko. "A final training has place on Saturday afternoon. The decisions will be made then. I am happy with their arrival. They fit within our vision to form a strong collective just like last season."

Ivan Leko about…Wesley and Rezaei

Kaveh Rezaei strengthens the attack of the Blues. The Iranian has an excellent physical condition. "Wesley and Rezaei should be a strong duo in attack", is Leko already convinced. "They are very complementary. Kaveh is a very good striker and a killer in the box. I am sure he will be even better in a stronger team."

Ivan Leko about…RSC Anderlecht

Antwerp – Club was a tough game last weekend. How intense will Sunday's top game be? The same ingredients as last week may be served for the coach of the Blues.

"I am especially expecting an open game", looks the Club coach ahead. "Such game deserves to be a sportive one. It is the first big test of the new season for both teams. Both teams want to know how good they are for the moment. Neutralizing the dangerous duo Dimata-Santini is a beautiful challenge. I have confidence in my defenders to do so successfully. Anderlecht already showed some nice things this season but I am sure Club are a better team."
