Philippe Clement: “Sometimes you have to be happy with one point”

Club Brugge took one point home after a 0-0 draw at Standard. The Blues got some good chances but could not score. Philippe Clement could live with the draw.

“There were good and bad things today. The field was bad of course. This is a field for the fourth league and it became worse and worse. At the end of the game it was completely impossible to play. Moreover, It is also pity my team lost control during ten or fifteen minutes. My players made too many mistakes and didn't play anymore. On such moments, we need to stay focused but there are also some positive things. We keep a clean sheet again and dominated the entire match. The ball was for 70% in our possession in the first half and for 65% at the end. We got a couple of chances in the first half and Ruud Vormer got the best one in the second half. Sometimes you need to be happy with one point. I cannot blame my team except for the fifteen minutes they forgot to play." (SF)
