“We are very disappointed, especially after the first half. We started strongly. We played dominant and won a lot of duels. Our pressure was also very high, just like we really want to play. Unfortunately, we had to concede a goal which should have been avoided. I think we should have been ahead after the first half. In the second half, we had a harder time keeping the lines close. You know it's not always easy at Genk but then you have to stay steady. The efficiency in both boxes was not good enough. We took risks and that is very risky against a team like Genk. In itself we don't look bad but the aim is to continue our first half throughout the entire match. This defeat is very pity but it doesn't mean that our play-offs are over. We still want to show great things anyway."
At 3-1, a foul by Jorne Spileers against Paintsil was paid in cash. "Jorne and I watched the footage together just now. He was very bothered by it and asked how he can do this differently. It was a good learning moment for him. You know something like this can happen but that doesn't mean I doubt his qualities because of that.” (SF)
