Q: May we expect many transfers at Club Brugge this transfer period?

A: We have no intentions to sell key players. This team proved last year to have the qualities to win the title and we still have confidence in them. Important players like Rafaelov, Engels and Diaby will reach their best level after New Year. Some players who played less than they wanted asked for a transfer. Whether they will effectively be transferred depends on whether other teams are interested in them. We follow the market attentively for the incoming transfers.

Q: Let's have a detailed look at some names. Let's start with the incoming transfers. A first name that circulates is goalkeeper Ethan Horvath.

A: There is some interest for Sebastien Bruzzese, so we have to be prepared. Horvath is a talented goalkeeper. He has already two years of experience as goalkeeper at Molde. He has an interesting profile. Jens Teunckens plays excellently with the youth, but he has no experience at the highest level yet and we want to give him the chance to evolve smoothly. There has been some criticism on Ludo Butelle but he is the goalkeeper who conceded the smallest number of goals in the JPL. Congratulations to the whole defence but certainly also to him. The most important task of a goalkeeper is to concede as few goals as possible. And Ludo succeeds in that perfectly.

Q: The Belgian press also talks about an attacker, Sead Haksabanovic

A: Haksabanovic is a top talent who excelled in the Swedish league and promoted with Halmstad. It is definitely not true that his physical tests were bad. In contrast, he has a lot of potential. We follow him very carefully.

Q: Can we still expect other players?

A: That depends on the evaluation we will make with Michel during the coming days. It will also depend on the evolution of the injured players (De Bock, Engels, Diaby) and the opportunities that appear. If we do something, it needs to have value.

Q: Can we expect outgoing transfers? Nicolas Castillo can go to the Mexican team Pumas MX?

A: That transfer was finished today. Nico played a strong season in Chili and wanted to get a lucrative transfer to Mexico.

Q: What is the plan with the players that collected few minutes during the first part of the season? Nikola Storm, Boli Bolingoli and Felipe Gedoz?

A: They want a transfer if possible. We will see what the possibilities are. They all have enough qualities to add something somewhere. Verstraete, Capon and Jonckheere are good examples for Nikola and Boli. Felipe wants a transfer. He is still a player with many qualities and there is some concrete interest from Brasil and Turkey.

Q: The 3 final games of this year are called: “De Warmste Wedstrijden”. What can we expect?

A: The unique Club atmosphere will be enlarged with some warm actions for the ones that need it, special attentions for our fans, nice movies and an awesome Xmas@Bruges XXL at our last home game of 2016, Club-Moeskroen. Club Brugge are 125 years old now but is living more than ever before. "De Warmste Wedstrijden" will show that one more time!
