A nimble, explosive forward capable of every attacking position. That is how Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis was presented at Club Brugge. Even still at a tender age, it looks as if pressure and stress get no hold on the young Nigerian. It can only help him in his endeavours to become the next star on the Belgian football fields. When Club came knocking in the Summer, he knew Bruges would be just the ticket for a further development as a pro player.
Dennis started his career at Football College Abuja, Nigeria. From there, he went to the Ukraine in 2016, where he joined Zorya Luhansk. The Nigerian showcased his qualities in no time, with great performances against a.o. Shakhtar Donetsk and Dynamo Kiev. The two Ukrainian greats proved too tough to handle for Luhansk, coming in third, but Dennis became one of the revelations of the league. With his next move to Club, the Nigerian hopes to further build upon his career.
Sergiy Serebrennikov, former Ukrainian international and Club player about Club's signing: "He has great potential, and has made a lot of headway, with his agility, actions and unpredictability. He's an ambitious fellow, and despite his young age, he's determined to win which proved instrumental to his team on their way to Europe. He sparked a lot of interest, both in the Ukraine and abroad, but I'm happy to see that Club managed to seal the deal. I'm fully confident that he will be making it in Belgium."
