Diaby: "I'm very happy with this new step in my career. I had liked to join Club in January but it didn't work out at that time. But now the pieces have fallen into place. I'm excited to start the new season at this wonderful club. Club Brugge had a good season and I will do my best to make next season even more memorable. I can't wait to meet the fans at the first training session."

Michel Preud'homme: "Abdoulay is a player we discovered during his time at Mouscron and we were immediately charmed by his qualities. He was enthusiastic about Club as well and the way we play football. We tried to sign him in January already, but unfortunateley we couldn't reach an agreement. But now we succeeded. If you can sign a player with his qualities and his desire to play for the team, than you can only be happy."
