Piet Cremers is the new head coach of Club NXT. Blauw-Zwart bids farewell to Jonas De Roeck.
Piet Cremers is joining from the Welsh national team, where he served as an assistant coach. The 31-year-old Dutchman has extensive international experience in top-level soccer. Since 2013, he has held several leadership roles on the coaching staffs of clubs including Excelsior, NAC Breda, Brentford, Burnley, and Manchester City. At the top English club, he worked as Head of Performance Analysis & Insights under Pep Guardiola. Later, Cremers was part of Vincent Kompany’s staff at Burnley as an assistant coach.
With his expertise in talent development, evidence-based approaches, and coaching, Club NXT U23 is strengthening its ambition to develop talent in a more targeted manner, enabling players to progress to Club Brugge’s first team in line with the club’s soccer philosophy. Cremers will be on the training field with the team for the first time on July 8.

Cremers’ arrival means that Club NXT is parting ways with Jonas De Roeck (46).
