The departure for Milan
One day before the game, Club Brugge travels to Milan. Even before leaving Ostend, the players and staff have breakfast at Basecamp. At 11 a.m., the wheels are off the ground in Ostend for a flight of about an hour and a half.
After some rest in their rooms, the players get ready to go down to San Siro for the first time. At 5:45 p.m., Nicky Hayen and a player speak to the press before putting on their soccer boots at 6:30 p.m. for a final training session on Italian soil.
