Alejandro Granados Torres will join the Club Brugge first team starting in the 2025–2026 season. The midfielder, who spent the past two seasons with Club NXT, is being rewarded for his performances with a contract extension until 2027 and a promotion to the first squad.
Granados joined Club Brugge in 2023 from American side Orlando City, where he made his MLS debut at the age of 17. The attacking midfielder spent the last two seasons with Club NXT U23 in the Challenger Pro League and also served as captain during Club NXT’s Youth League campaign earlier this season.
The Spanish youth international played 52 matches for Club NXT, scoring 4 goals and providing 5 assists.
Once again, Club NXT sees a young, homegrown talent promoted to the first team. Granados’ strong performances have earned him a contract extension through 2027. He will join the first team as soon as possible after the U19 European Championship with Spain to begin preparations for the 2025–2026 season.
