Club Brugge grabbed its first three-point lead of the still early season at 't Kuipje, much to the satisfaction of Andreas Skov Olsen.
"I don't think there was anything to fault about our win today, except that we should have decided the game much earlier," the Dane said in an initial reaction. "But we have to learn to get even more efficiency into our game, because with only one goal from a cartload of chances we rewarded ourselves rather meagerly. And just like last week against KV Mechelen, we had to pull out all the stops at the end to secure the win. But again...we didn't steal the victory and from this we have to draw enough confidence for the upcoming assignments."
And Skov Olsen continued : "Next week, with Eupen, another difficult displacement is on the menu. I thought we lost there last season, so we have something to put right. It won't be easy though, because the Pandas won anyway on the Genk pitch. Moreover, another European home game awaits us next Thursday. So the calendar looks pretty full in the month of August." (MV)
