Besiktas had a poor dress rehearsal for next Thursday's Conference League match against Club Brugge: it suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat at Trabzonspor. Bodø/Glimt could not win either. It stuck to a 1-1 draw at Rosenborg. FC Lugano was the only winner: 0-3 at Lancy.
Trabzonspor - Besiktas 3-0
Despite a large majority of ball possession, Besiktas went down 3-0 without a chance at Trabzonspor. The home team opened quickly with a chance for Visca, who kicked wide. Besiktas immediately responded with an action by Gedson Fernandes, who found Cakir in his path. The visitors from Istanbul immediately claimed the ball and controlled the game, but did not really manage to force chances. On the half-hour mark, old friend Paul Onuachu opened the scoring for the home side with his head. Just before halftime, Bakasetas even doubled the lead against the run of play. A triple substitution by Senol Gunes at the break did not help, the game picture did not change. Besiktas with the ball possession, Trabzonspor with some scarce chances. Visca put the 3-0 score on the board with half an hour left on the clock. (KV)

Rosenborg - Bodø/Glimt 1-1
Bodø/Glimt got an early lead through Gulliksen on a visit to Trondheim, but just before halftime Ole Sæter put the equalizer on the scoreboard with a penalty kick. In the second half, both teams failed to score. This draw leaves Bodø/Glimt stuck in second place behind leader Viking Stavanger, with nine games to go in the Norwegian league.
Tobias Gulliksen gave the visitors an early lead after defender Rosten lost the ball. The striker got the ball into his feet centrally in front of goal and kicked low into the left corner beyond the reach of the goalkeeper. Immediately the young Norwegian's first goal for Glimt. Rosenborg got more and more into the game afterwards and threatened through Skjelbred, Nelson and Halseth Nypan. But the equalizer did not come until the last minute of the first half. After a handball by Gulliksen, the home team got a penalty kick, Ole Sæter converting the eleven-meter.
After halftime, Bodø/Glimt took back the initiative, but the Rosenborg defense held up well. Attempts by Berg were saved by the goalkeeper and Pellegrino aimed a place ball wide of the far post. In injury time, it was almost the home team that walked away with the three points. Substitute Wiedesheim-paul was able to go alone on goal, but decided on goalkeeper Haikin. (KN)

Lancy - Lugano 0-3
In Switzerland this weekend the second round of the Schweizer Cup, the Swiss cup competition, was on the program. FC Lugano took on Lancy FC, a team from the French-speaking canton of Geneva. It was a big win at the Stade de Marignac: 0-3.
The first half was uneventful, but in injury time the team from the Italian canton of Ticino opened the scoring through Zan Celar. Deep into the second half, the same Celar was able to double the score through an individual move. Again in injury time, Bottani also scored an assist from substitute Hadj. (EV)
