13 Club players on international duty

In the upcoming two international weeks, 13 Club players will represent their country between 22 and 28 March.

Senne Lammens – Belgium U21

Senne Lammens Senne Lammens is set for two friendlies with Belgium U21 ahead of the European Championship in June. The NXT U23 goalkeeper will take on the Czech Republic and Japan (Pinatar Arena, Pinatar)

Jorne Spileers en Romeo Vermant – Belgium U19

The strong performances of Jorne Spileers and Romeo Vermant did not escape the attention of national coach Thierry Siquet. Spileers played an important role in the central defensive duo with Abakar Sylla in the 2-0 win against Standard. Romeo Vermant - who made his debut against KV Kortrijk last weekend - also scored quite a few goals at Club NXT. Three important matches are scheduled for the duo: a match against Slovenia and two top games against Germany and Italy.

Chemsdine Talbi and Kyriani Sabbe – Belgium U18

Talbi and Sabbe are two regulars at Club NXT. Both players strong performances were rewarded with a selection in Club's first team. At training camp in Croatia, they will take on Switzerland, England and Croatia with the Belgian U18.

Bjorn Meijer – The Netherlands U21

With four goals and five assists, Bjorn Meijer is one of Blauw-Zwart's strongest players. Against Benfica, he fired a ball into the top corner and against Standard he curled a free kick delightfully against the back of the net. With the Dutch U21 team, he will play two friendly matches against Norway and the Czech Republic.

Tajon Buchanan – Canada

Tajon Buchanan is also being relied on in the Canadian team's upcoming international period. TJ travels to Canada for the CONCACAF Nations League, a tournament for countries in North, Central and South America. There, he will take on Curaçao and Honduras.

Denis Odoi and Kamal Sowah – Ghana

The Ghanean duo has been called up by Chris Hughton to take on Angola.

Antonio Nusa – Norway U19

Antonio Nusa has earned an international call-up with Norway's U19 side. He'll take on Romania, France and Northern Ireland.

Abakar Sylla – Ivory Coast

Sylla has also been called up for his home country. His solid performance at Club has been rewarded with a place in the Ivory Coast squad. The young defender made his Côte d'Ivoire debut against Guinea in September.
