Blue-Black sends out ten internationals

After a few domestic league games, it's almost time for the first international break of the season. Find out below which player will be in action when!

Joel Ordóñez - Ecuador

Joel Ordóñez is once again there to represent his home country. Together with Ecuador, he is preparing for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, taking on Brazil and Peru, among others.

Game dates:

  • Brazil vs Ecuador Sept. 7 - 03 a.m.
  • Ecuador vs Peru Sept. 10 - 11 p.m.

Maxim De Cuyper - Belgium

De Cuyper is back at it for Belgium after last summer's European Championship. The Red Devils begin a new season in the Nations League in the tough group with France, Italy and Israel. During this international period, the Red Devils will take on France and Israel, with Italy following later.

Game dates:

  • Belgium vs Israel Sept. 6 - 8:45 p.m.
  • France vs Belgium Sept. 9 - 8:45 p.m.

Hugo Siquet, Jorne Spileers & Romeo Vermant - U21 Belgium

Also in the U21 many familiar names in the qualification for the EC U21, including Hugo Siquet, Jorne Spileers and Romeo Vermant. In a tough group including Spain and Scotland, Belgium is in third place, three points off the leader Spain. With three games to go, everything is still open for the top four. The first next step toward a ticket, is on Thursday, Sept. 10.

  • Kazakhstan vs. Belgium Sept. 10 - 4 p.m.

Raphael Onyedika - Nigeria

Onyedika also makes another appearance with the Super Eagles. They are competing for a place at the next Africa Cup of Nations. Opponents are Benin and Rwanda.

Game dates:

  • Nigeria vs Benin Sept. 7 - 6 p.m.
  • Rwanda - Nigeria September 10 - 3 p.m.

Andreas Skov Olsen - Denmark

Our Danish winger once again puts on his shoes for the Nations League. Denmark is in a treacherous group with Serbia, Switzerland and Spain. During this break, they will not meet the European champion yet.

Game dates:

  • Denmark vs Switzerland Sept. 5 - 8:45 p.m.
  • Denmark vs Serbia Sept. 8 - 8:45 p.m.

Christos Tzolis - Greece

Summer acquisition Tzolis has also been running for a while on the international stage for Greece. In League B of the Nations League, they play against Finland and Ireland. Absolute clapper and last year's relegater England completes Greece's group.

  • Greece vs Finland Sept. 7 - 8:45 p.m.
  • Ireland vs Greece Sept. 10 - 8:45 p.m.

Gustaf Nilsson - Sweden

Nilsson, another summer acquisition, will also be seen competing with his national team during the international break. The Swedes will try
in League C of the Nations League against Azerbaijan, Estonia and Slovakia to force promotion to League B and a place at the 2028 European Championship.

  • Azerbaijan vs Sweden Sept. 5 - 6 p.m.
  • Sweden vs Estonia Sept. 8 - 8:45 p.m.

Ardon Jashari

Ardon Jashari went to the European Championship with Switzerland during the summer, but during this international break he will be in action with his country's U21. He is competing for European Championship qualification and will take on Albania and Montenegro.

  • Switzerland vs Albania Sept. 6 - 7:30 p.m.
  • Montenegro vs Switzerland Sept. 10 - 7:30 p.m.
