Mechele (31) is a purebred Bruges youth product. The West Fleming progressed through all age groups and has been part of the first steam since 2013.
Together with Hans Vanaken he holds the record of 6 national times at Club Brugge. The defender has now signed a new deal keeping him at Jan Breydel until 2027.
