The Wörthersee Stadium
The Wörthersee Stadium, located in Klagenfurt, is a modern multi-purpose stadium, used primarily for soccer matches. Originally, it is the home of the Austrian soccer club SK Austria Klagenfurt. The stadium was opened in 2007 and has a capacity of about 30,000 spectators. The stadium is named after the nearby Lake Wörthersee, one of the region's most popular attractions.
The gates of the stadium open at 7 p.m., and food and beverage outlets are available from that time. Outside supporters enter the stadium through the Nord - Gästebereich. As in the Jan Breydel Stadium, smoking is prohibited in the stadium. Only small bags (no larger than A5) are allowed.
As an away supporter, you can reach the stadium on foot. Around the Wörthersee Stadium there is little parking space, we recommend parking at: Parkplatz P3 - Messe Klagenfurt.
