Casper Nielsen is all the way back after his injury. The Dane was also allowed to start today in the topper won against FC Antwerp. It became a tactical game in which Club kept good control and eventually won 2-1.
"This is a very important win. On Thursday we already played a good match and showed some new things. We talked about it before this match and we took those things to today. We knew this was going to be a tactical joust in a tough match. We kept good control of this match and I didn't count many chances for them. When they did equalize, it was tough for us for a while. But Hans dived well there at the end of the match. It was a tough match, but it's nice to win like that. So a good performance by the team."
After a good European match against Lugano, Club will continue on this momentum in the league. "We were in a difficult period for a while and we had to bring something extra to our game. The opponents were strong, but in the last two games it came back out. Hopefully we can keep going like this. I like to look ahead. In soccer, you play a lot of games and some things have been discussed among ourselves. There are still a bunch of games coming up at a fast pace. There is back energy and a positive vibe in the team now. It also shows the strong character of this team."
Casper Nielsen is happy to be back playing after his injury woes. "It's good to be back there. I was injured for a long time and I had to wait patiently for my moment. It's nice to be back playing and winning games. I focus on the team and I try to help where I can. But it's not easy to be out for so long. It's back looking for the right rhythm, but that's also part of soccer. Hopefully things will run better and better now after my difficult start. My teammates supported me during this period. But I'm back there, I'm happy to play and win matches." (KN)
