As usual every year, some 800 Club Business Members gathered in the presence of players and former players at the BMCC for the Charity Night. During the fifth edition, a record amount of no less than €503,958 was raised for Club Brugge Foundation. Among other things, they dedicate themselves to social projects in the field of sport, inclusion, health, sustainability and education.
Presenter Dorien Leyers and Chairman Bart Verhaeghe kicked off the evening and music was provided by Admiral Freebee. Each table, which was sold for the benefit of the Club Brugge Foundation, was completed with an A-core player, a former player or one of the coaches of Blauw-Zwart.
Many unique items went under the hammer of auctioneer Leo Van der Elst. The two-part painting 'From Bruges to Europe', on which both fans and players could indulge themselves in the run-up to the match against Arsenal, will get a new owner for €15,000.
Furthermore, a pitch side experience during an Inter match and a 2-day during the summer training of the A core went under the hammer for €20,000 and €12,500 respectively. The prediction of the number of goals scored during the winter training camp in Marbella yielded some €4,330. The winner of the prognostication will go home with a framed shirt signed by the entire player core.
After last year's €455,280, the record was broken again. Thus, the 2026 edition will raise a whopping €503,958! An amazing sum to the benefit of Club Brugge Foundation! Thanks to all partners present!
