Club Brugge and AC Milan reached an agreement on the final transfer of Charles De Ketelaere.
De Ketelaere (21) is a true Brugge youth product who has played in the blue-black colors since the age of seven. In the summer of 2019, he made the step to the A core. His debut followed in a cup match against Francs Borains and a month later he was already at the kickoff in the Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain. The offensive left-winger played a total of 120 games for Club at the highest level, managed to score 25 times and gave 20 assists. He also made his first minutes with the Red Devils at the end of 2020. His achievements are now being rewarded with a top transfer to AC Milan.
Vincent Mannaert: "As a Club, we can only be proud that a youth product leaves for the Italian national champion. We have seen and helped Charles grow into the player he is today and wish him every success in his new adventure. "
Charles De Ketelaere: "Of course I am very happy with this next step. As a young player you have the ambition to also be able to play at the top abroad. I want to thank everyone at Club for all the opportunities I got there and it will always remain my home."
