Clinton Mata: “Keep working hard at training”
It was not with discontent that Clinton Mata looked back at the encounter with his former employer. The Angolese born Belgian joined his team mates in the belief that more was in it today.
“We took a bad start to the game, and it took some time for us to adjust to their playing system. Fifteen minutes into the game, we took over and created a couple of chances through Rits and Schrijvers. We deserved at least a point here today, and after the break we had a couple of chances that could have made it a win for us. We will now be focusing on Monaco, which won't be easy either. Personally, I'm happy to be back on the pitch after a particularly rough period of convalescence. I'm grateful for the confidence Club has bestowed upon me despite my injury. It's not always going the way I'd want it to go, but I keep giving it everything I've got and working hard at training.“ (KV)
