Team first half: Jackers, Yameogo, Boyata, Spileers, Wylin, L. Audoor, Liam De Smet, Lund Jensen, Lenn De Smet, Vermant and Talbi
Under a bright sun, the match between Club and Dender got underway at 11 a.m. After a 10-minute study session, it was Vermant who could threaten first time, his shot went wide. Dender then also made a first appearance, a shot from outside the sixteen sailed over Jackers' cage.
Again a lot of youngsters from Club NXT between the lines and they showed themselves. A shot by Wylin after 20 minutes went just wide.
Many duels and attempts to set up attacks, but without much danger. No goals at halftime.
Team second half: Jackers, Deuwel, Verlinden, Willems, Tytens, S. Audoor, Goemaere, Lund Jensen, Salah, Furo, Da Silva.
An almost completely new team kicked off the second half, but the play remained the same. Both teams looked to combine forward, with many duels in midfield. Just after the hour Da Silva was able to push forward on the left flank, his shot was well caught and pushed into the corner. Furo's header that followed went just over the visitors' goal.
At the end of the match the best chances were for the visitors. Jackers saved twice 1-on-1.
Thus the match ended as it began. The boys now look ahead to this evening's practice match against Norwich at The NEST and Saturday's Super Bowl.
