This morning the cooperation with Carl Hoefkens was terminated.
Carl Hoefkens was appointed head coach of Blauw-Zwart at the end of May. Hoefkens (43) was previously assistant coach with the U18 and U21 Club and Talent Coach and served as assistant with the A-core for the past 3 seasons.
Despite a fine run in the Champions League, performance and level of play in the league remained below expectations. The World Cup break brought no improvement. On Wednesday, Club was eliminated in the Belgian Cup and on Monday it did not get beyond 1-1 against OH Leuven.
