Club Brugge has climbed to 17th place in the UEFA coefficient rankings, the highest position in the club’s history. Last season, the Blue and Blacks were still in 23rd place.
The rise is due to strong European performances in recent years. In addition, the less successful 2021–22 season is no longer factored into the calculation, giving more weight to more recent results.
The UEFA coefficient ranking plays an important role in European draws: the higher a club is ranked, the more favorable its starting position.
Things are looking good for the 2026/27 season as well. By qualifying for the Champions League, Club Brugge has already earned six bonus points, which could bring the club even closer to the European elite.
