The match

One month later than originally scheduled, Club Brugge and KRC Genk will play their catch-up match of the 5th matchday. It is already the fifteenth official match of the season for both teams.

The match was postponed to give both clubs a better chance of qualifying for the UEFA Europa Conference League group stage, which eventually had the desired result. Both Club (vs Osasuna) and Racing (vs Adana Demirspor) managed to qualify for the pools.
