Club meets AGF Aarhus in 2nd preliminary round UEFA Conference League

This afternoon the draw for the second preliminary round of the UEFA Conference League was held in Nyon.

In the "Main Path" we will take on AGF Aarhus in a double confrontation. We will play the home game on Thursday, July 27 and the return game one week later. In case of qualification, the outward game of the third preliminary round will follow immediately the week after, on Thursday, August 10.

Blue-Black belongs to the "Main Path" in this UEFA Conference League. There, 90 teams compete against each other in a return match.

About AGF Aarhus

The Danish club finished third in its own league last season, only having to beat FC Copenhagen and FC Nordsjaelland.

The five-time Danish champions are currently ranked 234th in the UEFA Ranking and have played 64 games in Europe so far. Their last award dates back to 2016, when they won the Danish Cup.

They play their home matches at the NRGi Arena. The stadium has a capacity of some 19,433 spectators and is located in the Danish city of Aarhus.

AGF Aarhus has faced a Belgian opponent once before. In the 1985-86 season, it was eliminated in the first preliminary round of the UEFA Cup by KSV Waregem.

Two former Club players were also once active at AGF Aarhus. Jim Larsen, active at Blauw-Zwart between 2012 and 2014, followed his youth training partly at the Danish club. Also Anders Nielsen, active at Club between 1996-97, once played for them.
