Club NXT will once again play closer to home starting next season. Our second team will play its home games in Schiervelde.
Club NXT, active this year in 1B, was welcomed this season in the stadium in Lokeren. For next season, in cooperation with the city council of Roeselare, a solution was found closer to home. Club NXT will play its home games from the 2021-2022 season on the Schiervelde site in Roeselare, all parties reached an agreement in principle today.
The move of Club NXT is the first step in a closer cooperation between Stad Roeselare and Club Brugge in which the training facilities in Roeselare will be used optimally and Brugse know-how can be put at the disposal of KSVR youth. In the future, the training grounds around Schiervelde will be the base of operations for the middle school (u13 to U16) of Club NXT by analogy with Basecamp.
