This week a special adventure is scheduled for Club NXT's U14 squad. On Wednesday, the young Brugge players will head to Cascais, Portugal, where they will participate in the prestigious IberCup Cascais, an international youth tournament that brings together many of Europe's top clubs each year.
The IberCup is known as a strong tournament in which talented youth players can compete against absolute top-level peers. For Club NXT, this means an excellent opportunity to gain international experience and further develop in a competitive environment.
The U14 starts the tournament strong right away. In the group stage they will take on SL Benfica, Manchester City and Met Oval Academy. Matches that are not only sports challenging, but also instructive for the further growth of the players.
After the trip on Wednesday, the first group match is already scheduled for Thursday. Then the tournament really starts for the young talents, who want to show themselves on the international stage.
