Club NXT U23 & U18 on internship to Venray

After the A core, it is now the turn of our U23 and U18 to leave on a training camp. They are preparing for a tough week of training in the Dutch town of Venray. Want to follow their trip closely? You can do so this week via our socials!

This week our youngsters are heading off on a training trip. Coach Robin Veldman can count on many players who already made minutes in the Challenger Pro League last season such as Liam & Lenn De Smet, Laurens Goemaere and Kaye Furo. In addition, newcomers Shandre Campbell, Renzo Tytens and Siebe Wylin also boarded the bus to the Netherlands. Coach Siebe Blondelle's U18 will also travel to Venray for a week of training.

Jong PSV - Club NXT U23 on Friday

The first afternoon's training starts immediately and the soccer boots are also put on Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon the U18 team will go on teambuilding, Wednesday afternoon it's the U23's turn.

On Friday, the U23 first makes a stopover in Eindhoven for the friendly match against Jong PSV at 14:00. After the match, Robin Veldman and his team will travel back to Basecamp.

Day 4

A training session and a trip to Toverland, this was on the schedule on Thursday. After dinner it was time for rest. On Friday, Club NXT U23 played a practice match against Jong PSV in Eindhoven.

Day 3

Wednesday was all about soccer and team building for our U23. The U18 headed to the practice fields twice to train. The day ended with a delicious barbecue, with the losing team from the team building giving the cook a hand.

Day 2

On Tuesday, a tough program was scheduled for Club NXT U23. An intensive training session was completed in the morning, after which the players enjoyed lunch and got some rest. Afterwards, they put on their soccer boots again for tactical training. In the evening, the players got the chance to excel in the annual, traditional quiz.

The U18 were also on the training field. In the morning, they traveled to the training fields together with the U23 for an intensive training session. In the afternoon the players went on a teambuilding trip.

Day 1

The first training day on Dutch soil is over. Around noon the players arrived in Venray and after lunch it was time for a first solid session in the afternoon. After training, the players and staff headed back to the hotel, where another dinner and individual interviews were scheduled.
