Club Brugge stuck to a 3-3 draw against KV Kortrijk on their own field. Blauw-Zwart took the lead through Zinckernagel, but the visitors turned the situation around through Afolabi and Bruno. Club seemed to go for it thanks to Mechele and Thiago, but deep into injury time it still became 3-3 after a goal by Seck.
After the big win over Charleroi, there was no reason for Ronny Deila to make any changes, so Club started with the same eleven. The Bruges players immediately grabbed the visitors by the throat: Vetlesen could not capitalize on a good move, a hard shot by Skov Olsen was saved by Pirard, who then also saved on a new attempt by the Dane. Moments later, Pirard was also on hand when Zinckernagel tried to launch Skov Olsen.
Club was clearly in control and deservedly took the lead after 15 minutes. Pirard boxed a cross from Skov Olsen into the feet of Zinckernagel, who kicked in the 1-0 from close range. The Bridge goalkeepers continued to push even after that, but encountered a strong Pirard. The goalkeeper saved on shots by Skov Olsen and Zinckernagel, and was also right on a header by Meijer, leaving Vanaken too surprised to score.
The only threat from the visitors was a lob from El Idrissy that went wide, but otherwise it was already Club that was punching the clock. Shots by Thiago and Skov Olsen were blocked, while Pirard saved an attempt by Thiago. On the stroke of half-time, Meijer headed the ball towards the second post, but Thiago was unable to head it in.
After the break, the Bridge trio tried to continue as before. Thiago needed just a little too much time, however, and could not print. Then a shot by Skov Olsen was blocked and a header by Vanaken went over the goal. No 2-0 and a little later, Club got the lid on the nose. Mignolet first parried a shot by De Neve, but then had to concede to Afolabi. Vanaken tried to score, but KVK scored again: Bruno put Spileers in the wind and scored the 1-2.
Blauw-Zwart then went on the offensive: after a header by Vanaken, substitute Jutglà suddenly had a good chance, but the Spaniard kicked the ball high over goal. Fifteen minutes before time, the equalizer was a fact: after a corner kick by De Cuyper, Mechele was able to kick in the 2-2 from close range. Moments later an attempt by Meijer ran into the side netting. Five minutes before time, Igor Thiago seemed to give Club the three points, when the Brazilian headed in a cross from Skóraś. The victory seemed assured, but deep into injury time Club managed to score the equalizer: Seck kicked in from close range.
