At the Pro League Awards gala, Club Brugge took home three prizes! Ardon Jashari walked away with two trophies, including the highest honor as Player of the Season, and Davinia Vanmechelen was also recognized for a strong season.
The Pro League Awards are traditionally held after the final match of the Play-Offs, with the coaches and players themselves selecting their favorites in each category beforehand.
Ardon Jashari was the first to receive an award, being named Talent of the Season. Our Swiss had an extraordinary debut season in our league and is now being rewarded for it. But that’s not all - he also won the evening’s most prestigious honor, being crowned Player of the Season. This makes him not only the most promising player of the year but also the best player of the 2024–25 season.
Davinia Vanmechelen also received recognition. The attacking midfielder for Club YLA scored an impressive 16 goals this past season, making her the top scorer in the Lotto Super League.
In addition, Club legend Raoul ‘Lotte’ Lambert was honored with a place in the Pro League Hall of Fame. In the year he turned 80 and received a statue at the Jan Breydel Stadium as a birthday gift, he is now also immortalized among the greatest stars of Belgian football.
