After this season, Febe Vanhaecke stops playing soccer for good. The 28-year-old defender was active at Club since 2011 and had many great moments.
For thirteen years, she defended the Blue-Black colors of the women's team and during that time she experienced just about everything. From the start of the women's team and playing soccer in the provincial series to the birth of Club YLA and its promotion to the highest division. A few weeks ago, the absolute highlight came with winning the Belgian Cup.
Unfortunately, in recent seasons she often had to deal with serious injuries, but Vanhaecke always bounced back. Thus, not only on the field, but also off the field, she was the personification of what Club is: Bluvn Goan.
After fifteen seasons, an unforgettable period comes to an end, but Febe will forever be one of Club YLA's greatest legends.
