Club YLA wint met 2-3 op het veld van Westerlo

On match day 9 of the Lotto Super League, Club YLA headed to the Kempen for the duel with KVC Westerlo Ladies. In the first half, Club YLA scored twice, but KVC Westerlo fought their way back into the game. In the end, the ball went in via a Westerlo leg, ensuring the 2-3 score on the board.

Club YLA started the game well and immediately created goal danger. In the 12th minute it was a prize. Lisa Petry outsmarted the goalkeeper with a jab: 0-1. The same Petry was close to a double lead in the 22ndminute, but she just couldn't head hard enough after a Rania Boutiebi cross. In the 38th minute, Margaux Martlè provided the deserved 0-2. With a dry but hard blast, she kicked the ball out of the reach of the goalkeeper. Club YLA went into halftime with a 0-2 lead.

KVC Westerlo started the second half well and immediately went in search of the tying goal. In the 56th minute, Ilse Van Walsem scored the 1-2. The equalizer followed shortly after through the same Van Walsem. Club YLA did not hold back and again created danger, as barely 2 minutes after the equalizer, the 2-3 could just be avoided.

In the 64th minute it was a winner. Amber Van Heeswijk took a corner and the ball disappeared into the goal via a Westel leg: 2-3. Club YLA did not relinquish the lead and took the win. The three-peat ensures that Club YLA jumps to fourth place in the standings over Standard Fémina.
