Yesterday afternoon, 34 players boarded the bus for a trip to Sint-Michielsgestel, where Club will stay until Saturday. On the first day there was already heavy training and the coming days will be no different, although there is still room for relaxation now and then. An overview!
Striker Ferran Jutglà continues his rehabilitation from his abdominal muscle injury in Westkapelle this week. Chemsdine Talbi and Joe Bursik are also dropping out injured. Dedryck Boyata is on training camp and newcomers Hugo Vetlesen and Maxim De Cuyper also joined the squad yesterday. Victor Barbera is currently working out the U19 European Championship with the Spanish national team. A full list can be found here.
After training at Basecamp on Monday morning, everyone got ready for a little over a two-hour drive to the Netherlands. There was not much time to unpack the luggage, as Blauw-Zwart immediately took their bikes to the training field where a brisk running session was scheduled.
Day Two
And also on day two, two training sessions were scheduled. Breakfast is at 9 a.m. after which there is medical treatment for those who need it. With a pre warm-up, the players are prepared for half an hour for a subsequent training session of almost two hours. There will also be another training session in the later afternoon, at 3:30 p.m.
