One of the successful winter transfers has certainly proved to be Denis Odoi. The linguistic Bruges number six acquitted himself against Anderlecht with bravura and was also a happy man afterwards.
"We have come a very long way after New Year to be able to celebrate as champions here," Odoi spoke afterwards. "But indeed, with a lot of talent and a lot of character as a team, we still managed to finish this campaign with a third title in a row. My transfer came about in a very short time, but when Club Brugge knock on the door you can't hesitate I think. I certainly haven't regretted coming to Club. Not only on a sporting level, but also on a family level, everything is fine. It is a pity we were not able to do the announced lap of honor with the family, but on the other hand I do understand the supporters' urge to be there after two years. Now, I am also curious what that will give tomorrow the celebration in the center of Bruges. Unfortunately for me, the season is not over yet, because I still have to play four matches with the Ghanaian national team at the end of May, but we'll take that into account. (FDC)
