Eduard Sobol: "Need to be a little more aggressive and efficient"

Eduard Sobol appeared to suffer a serious knee injury during the first half, but the Ukrainian persevered and played a superb match defensively and offensively. The left back was voted "Man of the Match" afterwards.

"I do my best for the team when I'm on the field. We wanted to get the three points today, but it only turned out to be a draw. We keep going and we are now focusing on the next match at home against Antwerp. We also see the results of the other teams, but of course we put the focus on our own match. We will have to prepare well to take the three points. We did well defensively, but need to be a little more aggressive and efficient in front of goal. We are working hard, it will come."

For a while, Sobol seemed to have to leave the field with a knee injury. "It hurt at first, but I got some pills from the doctor and my knee was taped up. During the second half, it was okay. I still feel some pain, but I don't think it's anything serious."

Vincent Mannaert addressed the player group this week. "He motivated us for this match. We shouldn't worry. We have enough quality in the squad to bring this to a successful conclusion. We have to stay calm and show it on the field."
