FIFA player Rudi Ekmen may also soon get ready for another exciting competition. After last season, Club will also be represented online this year by the 22-year-old top talent. The ePro League will be played on PlayStation 5 from Wednesday, Feb. 8, and can be followed live on Eleven Sports each time!
Soon, 18 Belgian clubs will once again compete for the national title in FIFA23. Last year Rudi stranded in the semifinals against later champions KRC Genk. This season the competition looks different. "Last year we met against everyone. Now the 18 teams were divided into two pools via a draw and the best four teams each go through. We meet top teams like Genk, Gent, Standard and Anderlecht in the group. A difficult draw, but I'm going for a place in the play-offs," Ekmen stressed.
Blauw-Zwart will open against KV Mechelen on Wednesday, Feb. 8. Club also includes Cercle Brugge, KAS Eupen and STVV. And for those who absolutely love the game and want to go a little deeper into the team lineups: Rudi can only select players who either have Belgian nationality, play or have played in the Pro League and a maximum of 2 icons.
If Rudi can qualify for the playoffs, a knockout round will be completed, consisting of a best of two each during the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals. The national champion will be named at the end of May.
By the way, did you know.
Rudi also qualified for the group stages of the eChampions League? He passed several preliminary rounds and will travel to London on February 16, 17 & 18 to compete against the 63 other best players in Europe! An amazing achievement!
