Follow the final day of Club NXT U13 in Portugal!

No league soccer for U13 this weekend, as they will be in action from Friday to Sunday at the Algarve Cup in Portugal!

From March 1 to 3, the Algarve Elite Cup takes place at the grounds of Silves FC. Many top international teams such as Manchester City, SL Benfica, Juventus, SC Braga, Brighton & Hove Albion, ... will compete there for three days to win the tournament.

Day 1

Thursday afternoon our U13 boarded the plane with the final destination of Faro, Portugal. After a bus ride to the hotel, it was time for dinner and then a well-deserved night's sleep. On Saturday, the first match was scheduled at 9:30 a.m. local time. The match at 15h00 (16h00 BE) can itself be followed live via the livestream on the Algarve Cup Facebook channel! Day 2

Satisfied, we look back on the first day of the tournament! The opening match, against local Silves FC, was won 2-0. Then followed the meeting with TCA, in this match it became 0-3. The English Brighton, the last opponent of the day, was defeated with convincing 4-0 figures.

Day 3

The third day in Portugal, day two of the Algarve Cup! After the first three games of the group stage, the last three were now completed. Against Braga, we only needed one goal to win: 0-1. Then came the meeting with the Italian Juventus, who together with us also won 12 out of 12 in their first three matches. An exciting match ended on a spectacle score: 0-0. As the last match of the day we took on FC Midtjylland. After 25 minutes of playing time, the final score stood 1-0 in favor of Club NXT U13!
