Gewezen materiaalman Roger Tierenteyn (81) overleden

The Club Brugge family was plunged into deep mourning on Nov. 11. It was necessary to say goodbye to former equipment man Roger Tierenteyn at the age of 81.

For almost 20 years, he daily took care of the training and match equipment of the A-core. Roger even combined this for a long period with scouting assignments and maintaining the practice fields at Olympia. He was also very closely involved in Blauw-Zwart's youth work while practicing his profession as a carpenter.

Roger was a soccer expert 'pur sang' and was greatly appreciated by the player cores and coaches. Our current equipment man Pascal Plovie learned the tricks of the trade thanks to Roger. This Clubman at heart was the son-in-law of the late Yvonne Lahousse or 'Vonne van de Spionkop'. Some two years ago, his wife Henriette passed away.

To his children Hannelore and Jürgen as well as to the family and friends, the Board of Directors of Club Brugge and the entire Club family offer their sincere condolences.
