“We played a good second half. We played a bit too slowly in the first half. It was very tough against their solid defense on such a small field. We made some small changes at halftime and started playing with four men in our defense. In that way our backs were lower, so that their wingbacks had to choose between covering or releasing the man. This made it easier for us to find the spaces. Moreover, after halftime we were no longer bothered by those sides where there were puddles."
Hans Vanaken played his first game on the highest level in the summer of 2013 and immediately scored twice for Lokeren on the field of Anderlecht. Nine years later he already scored his 100th goal in the Jupiler Pro League against Seraing. "That is a beautiful milestone. I am proud on it but it cannot stop there. I go for goal number 101 next week but the most important thing is that we win. It doesn't matter who scores. I don't let my mind dwell on that. I want to help the team, preferably with goals and assists but that can also be by playing an important role in the build-up and by being available for play. The most important thing for me is that we win." (SF)
