Dortmund controlled the match well in the second half, but Hans Vanaken saw that there was more in the first half for Blauw-Zwart. Only the finishing was lacking. Vanaken also faced three colleagues from the national team.
"The first fifteen minutes we created some chances ourselves, but then we gave it away too easily. We expected more from this match beforehand. But you can hardly train on efficiency, huh.
