Former soccer star Heleen Jaques will become head coach of Club YLA starting next season.
Jaques (35) is currently youth coordinator at the KBVB and assistant coach of the Red Flames U19. As a player, she defended our colors between 2013 and 2015 and was also active abroad with Herforder, Turbine Potsdam, Fiorentina and Sassuolo, among others.
She was also there at the European Championship in 2017 and achieved a total of 97 caps with the Red Flames. Now she succeeds Dennis Moerman, who is moving to RSC Anderlecht as T2, as head coach of Club YLA. David Antunes Pereira comes over from KRC Genk Ladies and becomes her assistant.
