Club qualified for this round by eliminating these 3 clubs:
- On Oct. 27, Club won at home over 1B club KMSK Deinze 3-0. José Izquierdo and Bas Dost (2x) provided the goals.
- December 1, Club eliminated defending champion KRC Genk after penalty kicks. After 90 minutes it was 3-3. Éder Balanta and Charles De Ketelaere (2x) scored the Bruges goals, Kristian Thorstvedt and Joseph Paintsil (2x) for the home team. No more goals were scored in the extensions, so penalty kicks had to decide the verdict. All Bruges penalty takers scored and Simon Mignolet stopped Patrik Hrosovsky.
- Just before Christmas, Club won at home against Oud-Heverlee Leuven by a generous 4-1 score. Charles De Ketelaere, Éder Balanta, Noa Lang and Hans Vanaken fielded the verdict for the Leuveners. Xavier Mercier saved the honor for OHL.
KAA Gent faced these clubs to qualify for the semifinals:
- In October, Gent faced Belisia Bilzen from Second Natioanel B (4th level). Vadis Odjidja, Joseph Okumu, Ilombe Mboyo and Giorgi Chakvetadze ensured an easy 4-0 victory.
- In the 1/8th final, another Limburg opponent awaited. On the field of Lommel SK, Gent prevailed 0-2. Julie de Sart signed for the 2 goals.
- Standard went down in the quarterfinals at the Ghelamco Arena. An early goal by Sven Kums was nullified by Aron Dønnum, but Tarik Tissoudali turned the match in Gent's favor with 2 goals (3-1).
