Krépin Diatta crowned himself the match winner. The Senegalese put Club ahead 20 minutes before time and was able to score again just minutes later.
"I missed another good chance in the first half," Diatta said. "At halftime I told myself to do everything I could to get that goal and I succeeded. Whether that first goal was Kaya's or mine? Without Kaya, the goal wouldn't have happened. I think it was more of an owngoal, but of course I put pressure on him."
Club is now closing a gap with the first pursuers and can look forward to Sunday's match with a good feeling. "We have to keep going like this now. We are in a good flow. I am very happy. We have high ambitions and don't put it away that we want to do as well as last year."
Diatta is increasingly growing into his strongest form. He is top marksman and is becoming more and more golden for his team. Although he does not put the focus on personal achievements, but rather on successes with the team. "I feel good in this team.
