In Francis Amuzu, Kyriani Sabbe faced a severe speed challenge, but the young right back was never really undone.
"I knew his qualities from some years ago, so I knew this was going to be a contest. My legs felt really heavy by the end of the game. It takes a bit more dosage by the end of the game. Our main intention was to keep hold of that point in the second half."
Still part of Club NXT just six months ago, Sabbe now proudly represented Club's seniors in the game against Anderlecht. "I take every chance I get and go for it 100%. I'm happy with how I'm playing right now. It's not like I have to pinch myself. I try to learn from every experience; today I learned that sometimes you need to dose your efforts.
