Leo Van der Elst has decided to trade his position as head coach at Club YLA for a role as marketing and recruitment manager within the same team.
The Club legend, who is also house analyst at Blauw-Zwart, joined the ladies in 2017 and achieved some great results. For example, in 2018, YLA (then Club Brugge Women) promoted to the Cooore Super League, the first division of women's soccer. This season, Van der Elst achieved a nice fifth place with his team.
Van der Elst will continue to work for Club YLA next season as well, but from a different position. Meanwhile, YLA is starting the search for a new head coach, interested parties can apply here.
